• Temporary license codes enabling full use of the software will be issued to the participants at the beginning of the workshop.

Learn the basics of VJing with Resolume Arena VJ Software. This workshop covers the core workflow, from loading and mixing clips to using effects, transitions and live controls, and is a perfect introduction for anyone who wants to start VJ’ing!

Total Visual Annihilation is a hands-on Wire workshop about destroying images in style. We’ll build effects using noise, distortion and feedback, exploring the space between signal and chaos. When structure breaks down, patterns emerge from noise.

Resolume creates software for live visual performance, used by VJs, artists, designers and audiovisual performers around the world. Built with a strong focus on real-time creativity, Resolume Arena and the node-based environment Resolume Wire give artists the tools to create, manipulate and perform visuals live.

At Aavistus Festival, Resolume will host two workshops: Total Visual Annihilation, a Resolume Wire workshop focused on building destructive visual effects, and How to VJ with Resolume Arena, an introduction to the fundamentals of live visual performance.
