ESPSON is a duo from Lisboa based in Aalborg. Friends, colleagues and roommates, they find the time to work together with this project to take advantages of limitations of physical means to build lossy narratives subverting hardware's original design purposes.

Mixed Signals is a performance based on playful improvisation within the limitations of selected hardware where video and audio signals bleed into one another. An assembled body of 2 video mixers and 2 audio mixers corrupt original design purposes of integrated electrical systems. This body’s assemblage relies on a forced translation, where unformatted signals are force-fed and different signal bandwidths get misunderstood by each other. Such a system originates an unstable ecology of artefacts where boundaries between sound making and light making become blurred.
