Nils Qvis is a cartoonist, illustrator, animator, graphic designer, game developer and even audiovisual artist, living and working in Loviisa, Finland. His artistry is characterized by  colorful and playful characters and creatures, drawing inspiration from nature, science and folklore.

If you pay a little bit of attention on an early summer morning drive in the countryside, you might notice a thin fog hugging the fields and meadows. If you pay really close attention, you might even be able to see whispy, barely visible beings, dancing around in the fog. Pay attention! The elves are having a concert and you're invited to be the conductor.Inspired by the elves from Scandinavian folklore that are said to be dancing in the meadows during summer nights, whose traces can be seen as low hanging morning fog, Älvdans is an audiovisual artwork in the form of a little music making sandbox game.
