VJ mentalny jeż, also known as Michał Przyszlak, is a Polish audiovisual artist, VJ and motion designer working at the intersection of digital art, music and audiovisual performance.

His practice combines animation, projection mapping, real-time visuals, AV performance and video art. Using 2D and 3D techniques, generative forms and performative approaches to the moving image, he explores the relationships between image, sound and space.

Alongside creating visuals for concerts, tours and festivals, he develops his own independent artistic projects. His works have been presented in Poland and internationally, including Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Slovakia and the United States.

”In my VJ sets, I build the image as a multilayered digital space, where individual planes overlap, intersect and respond to the rhythm of the music. I work with 2D/3D animation, abstract structures, glitch-based distortions, generative forms and real-time composition. Rather than following a fixed narrative, I create a shifting visual system that develops live — shaped by sound, the energy of the venue and the audience. I treat the image as a stage built from multiple layers, where movement, texture, light and depth gradually form an intense audiovisual structure.”
