Irene Suosalo is a video artist based in Helsinki who works across disciplines in the field of experimental animation. Suosalo’s practice draws from retro aesthetics, along with the themes, technologies, and imagery they evoke. The works are often abstract, creating space for storytelling that transcends language. At the core of Suosalo’s practice is an archive-based approach, enabling the endless recycling of materials. In these processes, digital and analog methods merge, and modern craftsmanship collides with the inherent logics of technology—embracing chance and errors as elevated elements in the finished works. A central theme in the works is the relationship between technology and beauty.

Nettles is a Helsinki-based musician and multidisciplinary artist. Their approach to musical endeavours can be described as static, playful and intimate. Using ”found” media, field recordings, sampling and digital experimentation Nettles paints an unfinished picture to be fully unfolded through the listener. They’ve released various projects and singles independently on Soundcloud and in December 2025 they released their debut album on World Canvas.
