Raquel F. Caamaño is a computational artist working under the studio name Postnatural Artifacts. With a background in industrial design and a master’s in computational creativity, she creates speculative objects that imagine futures where nature,
human, and technology co-evolve. Her practice explores the entanglement of biology and machine through physical and digital media, proposing an archaeology of possible futures.

This AV performance treats texture and structure that shift and dissolve in response to sound, hovering at the threshold between noise and pattern. The viewer completes the work. Confronted with movement that resists easy classification, the eye instinctively searches for the familiar and finds it, briefly, in the shape of something living, a familiar landscape, the memory of a place, before it dissolves back into abstraction. What emerges is neither landscape nor pure noise, but a live negotiation between perception and pattern: something recognizable enough to feel intimate, and strange enough to remain its own entity.
