Ferromagnetic is a music visualizer and VJ software developed in Finland by Daniel Eke. At Aavistus, Daniel presents it through an interactive workshop focused on live performance, sharing practical tips, techniques, and examples from VJ workflows.Free to download on macOS, Ferromagnetic combines audio-reactive visual effects with video and live camera mixing in a multi-screen, multi-deck workflow. It also supports MIDI, Syphon, and NDI for integration with other VJ setups.Workshop attendees receive a free three-month Ferromagnetic Producer voucher. As an independently developed project, questions, feedback, and suggestions are warmly welcome.

Daniel Eke is a Hungarian-Finnish digital artist and software developer creating tools for visual artists and live performers. With a background in graphic design, painting, and a double degree in computer science, he has been developing and self-publishing creative software since 2014 across iOS, macOS, and the web.His latest project, Ferromagnetic, is a music visualizer and VJ software developed in Finland, combining real-time graphics, audio-reactive effects, and live video processing. Daniel’s work explores the intersection of creative practice and technology, with a particular interest in shaders, real-time graphics, and tools that enable artists to experiment and perform.
